CITY & GUILDS LEVEL 2 PLUMBING (6 WEEKS)

This course covers all aspects of plumbing principles and practices and is intended for those that want to gain practical skills and knowledge in order to gain entry into the professional plumbing industry or develop their skills and knowledge as a professional plumber.

This is a professional trade qualification and you will gain a level 2 City & Guilds Certificate on completion of this course. The course covers the following 10 units;

  • 201 – Health and safety in building services engineering (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 202 – Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 203 – Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam)
  • 204 – Common plumbing processes (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 205 – Cold water systems (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 206 – Domestic hot water systems (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 207 – Sanitation (Assessed by a practical assignment)
  • 208 – Central heating systems (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 209 – Drainage systems (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam and a practical assignment)
  • 210 – Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering (Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam)
